Beam Yoga and Pilates was established to bridge the gap between the expert yogi and new yogi. Beam is an atmosphere focussed on meeting you where you are and providing a space for your fitness and wellness goals… And we ACTUALLY mean that! We have members that have done yoga for 20 years and some who have never tried it at all. Beam offers yoga at a beginner, intermediate, and advanced level. Our styles range from Hatha Yoga to Hot Yoga! Mat Pilates at room temperature and hot temperature. If you’re looking to sweat a little or a lot, Beam Yoga and Pilates has something for you!

Yoga and Pilates Classes

Hot Yoga

Hot Yoga is a more challenging form of yoga in which it consists of 26 postures in 60 mins in a 95 degree heat. This is a more fast pace and advanced form of yoga.

Hatha Yoga

Hatha is a branch of yoga that focuses on physical postures and breathing techniques to promote a sense of balance and well-being. It is beginner friendly and a slower pace of yoga.

Power Yoga

Power yoga is an advanced form of Vinyasa Flow and at Beam we offer Power Yoga in a warm temperature room as well. This is a great option for those who are working towards the Hot Yoga class. We recommend this for clients who are on their way to intermediate level.

Vinyasa Flow

Vinyasa Flow is a form of yoga with poses that are done in a continuous flor. This is a great option for those who are working towards intermediate level and want a class that moves at a faster speed than Restorative or Hatha yoga.

Stretch Class

This 30 min class is focussed on providing a quality stretch with poses and tools. Stretches may be held for 1-3 mins to improve mobility and flexibility. Weightlifters, athletes, and all age groups are encouraged to attend!

Hot Pilates

Hot Pilates is very similar to our Classic Mat Pilates class except its taken in a warmer climate. Our pilates classes are upbeat and lively. Feel the heat and challenge yourself today!

Restorative Yoga

A gentle and relaxing style of yoga that focuses on inducing deep relaxation and healing through supported poses. This style of yoga is beginner friendly and a great way to meditate and reset at the top of your week!

Classic Mat Pilates

Mat Pilates is focussed on building strength and flexibility, toning and tightening, as well as obtaining a great calorie burn in just 30 minutes. This class is taken on a pilates mat (a yoga mat is also suitable).

Yin Yoga

Yin Yoga focuses on holding poses for extended periods of time (3-10 minutes) to target deep connective tissues like fascia and ligaments. This is a beginner friendly class and a great way to familiarize yourself with yoga principles and benefits.
